About The Position

Weber Enterprises, Inc. is a family-owned Taco Bell franchisee with over 40 locations across Oregon and Washington. They are seeking a Shift Leader to manage shifts, develop leadership skills, and work in a fast-paced environment. This role can be a part-time opportunity or the start of a full-time career in the food industry. The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old and has prior restaurant or customer service experience.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Available to work flexible hours.
Possess a valid food handler's certificate (can be obtained during employment, depending on state or local requirements).
Must be able to obtain additional food safety certification (on the job).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Capable of making quick, effective decisions.
Prior restaurant or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure fast service and resolve guest complaints quickly, ensuring a positive experience.
Make sound business decisions quickly, keeping the guest in mind.
Ensure employees maintain a neat appearance and deliver quality products.
Maintain a friendly, courteous attitude with customers and coworkers at all times, while upholding operational standards.
Anticipate service bottlenecks, make quick decisions, and take action to resolve issues.
Take action to meet customer needs.
Ensure proper product preparation, portioning, cooking, and sanitation, while managing labor and food costs within acceptable limits.
Coordinate opening and closing activities.
Oversee crew productivity.
Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
Manage safety/security issues.
Execute marketing programs, including placement of POP and suggestive selling.
Maintain restaurant cleanliness and food safety standards.
Contribute to daily workflow with regular, punctual attendance and a high level of energy to meet customer demands.
Learn quickly and adapt to constant changes in a fast-paced environment.
Lead by example, adhering to appearance and procedural standards, and participate in goal setting.
Provide constructive feedback, resolve performance issues, and encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the team and managers.
Communicate viewpoints and concerns to fellow employees and managers in a constructive manner.
Exert a high degree of energy and drive to meet customer demands.
