SHIFT LEADER II- Antioch Coater
About The Position
Mohawk is looking for a Shift Leader in the Dalton, Ga area. This role involves monitoring latex weight, performing all job functions, and having knowledge of all operating equipment. The Shift Leader will assist the supervisor in various department tasks, including managing and tracking production, maintaining a clean and safe environment, making daily job assignments, and fostering a positive work environment. They will also ensure all Quality and strict safety procedures are followed by themselves, all employees, and visitors within the area. The position requires assisting and filling in on each job as needed, analyzing and resolving work problems, and keeping work areas clean and orderly. Any other duties required by the supervisor will also be part of the responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years coating department experience in various job titles
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team
- Ability to work well with others and must show enthusiasm, initiate and pride in work
- Basic computer Skills (EXCEL and WORD) & AS400
- Excellent attendance
