About The Position

LSI is seeking a dedicated and energetic caregiver to work full-time as a Shift Lead at Harmony House in Muscatine. This role is part of the Services for People with Disabilities team, focusing on empowering individuals to live with greater confidence and independence. LSI is a human services agency with over 160 years of experience serving children, adults, and families across Iowa. The Services for People with Disabilities program offers comprehensive support, ranging from occasional respite care to 24/7 assistance in various living arrangements.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, or another human services-related field.
An Associate's degree, with two years of human services-related experience.
A high school diploma or a GED, with four years of human services-related experience.
A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a good driving record.
Ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.

Responsibilities

Oversight of services provided during designated/scheduled shift at Harmony House.
Directly work with clients to provide support, assistance, and instruction to facilitate personal growth and independence.
Serve as a resource and partner to staff working at Harmony House, responding to questions regarding programming, documentation, trainings, scheduling, and employment.
Support program leadership in interviewing candidates, facilitating shift meetings, communicating with case managers, and completing required documentation and reports.
Participate in an on-call rotation for program oversight.
