About The Position
The Shift Lead is responsible for guiding the execution of the daily production plan and standards for safety, security, and productivity, in addition to adhering to the quality criteria. Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company that focuses on the repair, refurbishment, and remanufacturing of pallets. Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Nice To Haves
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Guiding the execution of the daily production plan and standards for safety, security, and productivity.
- Adhering to quality criteria.
- Complying with all safety procedures while performing job duties using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Training and guiding operators on repairing pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards.
- Visually inspecting and auditing pallets and determining rework needed.
- Communicating with Shipping/Receiving regularly on needs and status.
- Communicating with Shift Supervisor consistently for guidance and priorities.
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
