This role is designed for a strong server or hospitality leader who wants to take the next step in their career through hands-on leadership development, mentorship, and management training — while still having opportunities to work serving shifts.

Requirements

  • Several years of high-volume serving experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead confidently in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to grow into a long-term restaurant management career
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership, trainer, key hourly, or supervisor experience preferred
  • Passion for hospitality and team development

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts alongside management to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Support and coach front-of-house team members during service
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Whiskey Cake standards
  • Assist with floor leadership, team communication, and problem-solving
  • Help drive team accountability, hospitality, and restaurant culture
  • Work a combination of Shift Lead and Server shifts based on business needs
  • Learn operational leadership skills with a clear path toward restaurant management
