About The Position

Security Engineers is a growing provider of contract security services with operations across multiple states. The Shift Lead guides and supports team members, serves as the link between staff and management, and helps coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and maintain smooth, efficient shift operations in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

Eligible for registration under ORC Chapter 4749 as an employee of Security Engineers' Ohio-licensed security guard agency.
Valid driver's license and approved MVR when driving duties are required.
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)
Eligible for registration under employer's Ohio security guard agency license (ORC Ch. 4749)
1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience

Nice To Haves

3+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
1+ years of verifiable Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
Guide and support junior officers
Ensure protocol and customer service standards are met
Assist with scheduling and shift coverage
