About The Position

We are currently hiring for a Security Shift Lead at a client site in Clifton Park, NY. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional security environment focused on safety, access control, customer service, and team leadership. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Valid NYS Driver's License required and ability to qualify for Safe Drive certification.
Reliable transportation required.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience preferred.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Control access to the facility and monitor vehicle drop-offs and pickups.
Manage the secure entry and exit of trucks, visitors, and contractors.
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout the property.
Document activities, transactions, and incidents using site reporting systems.
Complete clear, accurate, and professional incident reports.
Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors.
Operate security-related technology and systems.
Perform duties outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Provide leadership and direction to on-site Security Officers.
Assist with officer training and onboarding.
Support daily security operations and ensure site procedures are followed.
Serve as a point of contact for officers and site leadership during assigned shifts.
