About The Position

We are looking for a hair stylist who has shampoo, blow-dry and amazing hair styling & finishing skills. Ability to do a blowout in under 45 minutes! This role involves supervising shop staff on any given shift assigned, including Bartenders & Stylists. You will lead the client experience from check in to check out ensuring Drybar standards are upheld. You will also be responsible for leading team member responsibilities such as assigning clients to stylists, delegating tasks to bartenders and stylists, and executing meal period and break schedules. Monitoring shop inventory, regularly checking back bar and retail supplies, and placing orders when needed to meet supply level standards are also key. Additionally, you will train new bartenders, educating them on using Booker and Drybar’s 10 core values, and ensure stylists are completing blowouts in under 45 minutes. A desire to provide exceptional service not only to our clients but to our staff, implementing problem-solving strategies and maintaining awareness, is crucial. Strong communication skills and a commitment and dedication to customer service are essential. You will ensure that all company procedures and policies, federal, state, and local regulations are followed, including Drybar’s timekeeping policy and supervisor policy addendum. You will be responsible for reporting all time worked for yourself and others in a timely fashion. We also accept applications from cosmetology students, provided they have a valid cosmetology license to work as a hairstylist.

Requirements

• A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying.
• Shampoo, blow-dry and amazing hair styling & finishing skills.
• Ability to do a blowout in under 45 minutes!
• Strong communication skills and a commitment and dedication to customer service.
