Shift Lead| Cosmetologist / Hair Stylist
About The Position

We are looking for a hair stylist who has shampoo, blow-dry and amazing hair styling & finishing skills. Ability to do a blowout in under 45 minutes! This role involves supervising shop staff on any given shift assigned, including Bartenders & Stylists. The Shift Lead will lead the client experience from check in to check out ensuring Drybar standards are upheld. They will also lead team member responsibilities such as assigning clients to stylists, delegating tasks to bartenders and stylists, and executing meal period and break schedules. Additionally, the Shift Lead will monitor shop inventory, regularly check back bar and retail supplies, and place orders when needed to meet supply level standards. Training new bartenders on using Booker and Drybar’s 10 core values is also a key responsibility, ensuring Stylists are completing blowouts in under 45 minutes. A desire to provide exceptional service not only to our clients but to our staff is essential, along with implementing problem-solving strategies and maintaining awareness. Strong communication skills and a commitment and dedication to customer service are required. The Shift Lead must ensure that all company procedures and policies, federal, state, and local regulations are followed, including Drybar’s timekeeping policy and supervisor policy addendum. They are responsible for reporting all time worked for self and others in a timely fashion. We also accept applications from cosmetology students (must have a valid cosmetology license to work as a hairstylist).
Requirements
- A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying.
- Shampoo, blow-dry and amazing hair styling & finishing skills.
- Ability to do a blowout in under 45 minutes!
- Strong communication skills and a commitment and dedication to customer service.

Responsibilities
