About The Position

The Senior Shift Engineer, Monitoring & Diagnostics will analyze engine supervisory and thermal performance data of F-Class Gas Turbines to determine root causes and corrective actions for operational issues. This role involves utilizing Process Information (PI) tools for monitoring, analysis, and graphical representation of Gas Turbine and LNG Compressor stations. The engineer will build databases of known field issues and their indicators, share knowledge of systems, and expand expertise to other engine types and technologies. Collaboration with a team of aerothermal and performance engineers is key to defining and developing approaches for GT performance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and health monitoring models. Communication of corrective actions to customers via email and phone is essential. The role also includes refining automated tools and templates for recurring tasks to enhance team responsiveness and productivity. U.S. and international travel may be required, and the engineer must be available to respond during both working and non-working hours, including overtime and rotational shifts. Ensuring the quality, completeness, and timeliness of documentation is also a responsibility. Experience with GE7EA for LNG compressor stations and hands-on maintenance and controls troubleshooting experience is particularly sought after.
