About The Position

Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs. We are looking for an Underground Shift Coordinator to oversee the on-going construction and day-to-day operation of the Underground Mine. The role will work closely with and in support of the Underground Team and various contractor groups. This role is on a rotating schedule for dayshift/nightshift weekdays/weekends and requires flexibility to work all shifts.  Reporting to the Superintendent - Underground Operations, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Fulfill Underground Safety Standard requirements as needed.
• Oversee and coordinate underground related work activities
• Execution of planning and integration with surface and underground operations
• Oversite of the Underground Mine Contractors
• Ensure proper permitting
• Quality assurance through daily inspections
• Coordination of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
