About The Position
Ventia is seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support the delivery of facilities management and maintenance services for the Auckland Council contract. This role involves collaborating with operational teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to foster a robust safety culture, ensure adherence to SHEQ standards, conduct audits and investigations, provide training, and promote ongoing improvements in health, safety, environment, and quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a SHEQ/HSE Advisor role.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (Diploma, Degree, NEBOSH or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of HSWA 2015, risk management, audits, and incident investigations (ICAM preferred).
- Experience working across multiple sites and engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
