About The Position

This is a hands-on installation role where you will be in the field or in our shop most days, working with a small team or independently once trained. The Hayes Company focuses on excellence in every install, value in every build, and trust in every partnership.

Requirements

• Experience in construction, installation, carpentry, or similar hands-on work
• Comfortable using basic tools (drills, saws, levels, anchors, etc.)
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow install instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, consistent, and takes ownership of your work
• Able to lift and move materials (50+ lbs at times)
• Valid driver’s license
• English (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Closet/shelving install experience
• Trim carpentry or framing background
• Experience working in occupied homes

Responsibilities

• Install wire shelving, closet systems, and storage solutions
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials to fit each space
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure installations are level, secure, and clean
• Communicate with team members and occasionally homeowners on-site
• Keep job sites clean and professional
• Follow install standards so work holds up long-term
