The Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (Cast) is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that is working to put an end to human trafficking through comprehensive, lifesaving services to survivors and a platform to advocate for groundbreaking policies and legislation. This position requires thorough knowledge and understanding of a human rights, strengths-based approach in serving clients. The Shelter Program Manager requires strong social work skills (particularly in crisis intervention and conflict resolution) and cultural competency. It also requires strong assessment and service planning skills, supervisory experience, and strong administrative skills. The Shelter Program Manager should possess a high level of maturity, flexibility, and awareness of the dynamics of shelter living with the ability to work independently and with others.
