This position involves supervising zone supervisors to ensure staffing levels meet each child’s physical, social, emotional, educational, and recreational needs and comply with contract and regulatory standards and requirements. The role also includes scheduling appointments for children, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with various professionals and community resources, and regularly observing and evaluating program resources to address issues as needed. The Shelter Manager will frequently traverse from one area of the physical plant to another and must communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish, meeting all predetermined deadlines.
