A Shelter Associate at Catholic Charities welcomes guests with dignity, checking them in/out, and managing bed assignments. They maintain safety and order by calmly enforcing shelter guidelines. They de-escalate conflict and respond to crises (mental health, substance use, medical emergencies) using trauma-informed, person-centered approaches.

Responsibilities
