About The Position
This position is for a power jack operator on the 3rd shift. The role requires availability for overtime and weekends, and the ability to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. The jobs are fast-paced and involve repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ lbs, while Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. The role involves constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks will be provided and is required for qualification within Tyson Foods, Inc.
Requirements
- 3-Months operator experience (can be a combination of employers).
- Ability to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
- Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees.
