About The Position
Island Operating is seeking an experienced Class A Production Operator for offshore Shelf properties out of Venice. The position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production facilities while complying with customer requirements, BSEE regulations, and Island’s Living in the Z.O.N.E. safety culture. The Operator monitors and maintains production equipment, troubleshoots operational issues, completes required documentation, and works with the offshore team to maintain safe, reliable production.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of direct production operations experience.
- High school diploma.
Responsibilities
- Operate the offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.
- Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.
- Complete mandatory paperwork required by customers and government agencies.
- Coordinate facility logistics.
- Apply chemical treating and handling competencies.
- Use computer systems and knowledge to support the role.
- Work with glycol dehydration systems and draft burner units.
- Operate or work with heat exchangers and three-phase separation equipment.
- Maintain organization of the platform.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Follow a safety-oriented approach to work.
