About The Position

As a Shelby Performance Parts Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, assisting with order placements, product inquiries, and account information related to automotive performance parts and Shelby merchandise. You will utilize established procedures to address and resolve customer concerns, while maintaining high standards of service through follow-up communications and support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years in a similar role.
  • High School/G.E.D. required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment, random, or reasonable suspicion drug screens.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Active learning, listening, critical thinking, basic math, reading comprehension, speaking, writing.
  • Coordination, instruction, negotiation, persuasion, service orientation, social perceptiveness.
  • Complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Judgment and decision-making.
  • Effective time management.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, presentations, internet navigation, and word processing.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures, customer service, English language.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls, place orders and manage inquiries related to automotive performance parts, merchandise, and customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform general office duties including record maintenance and customer database management.
  • Prepare and respond to routine inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
