About The Position
Responsible for the layout, fabrication and installation of duct work and outfitting items made from various grades of Sheetmetal, utilizing various hand tools and shop equipment.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of craft work experience.
- Ability to fabricate and install duct hangers and flanges.
- Ability to understand fit up and alignment tolerances.
- Ability to safely operate miscellaneous hand tools used in the trade.
- Capable of reading a tape measure both standard and metric.
- Ability to pass a tack welding certification.
- Other related craft skills with 2-3 years craft experience working with various thickness of metal are shipfitter and roofing.
- Carpentry skills with 2-3 years experience are also applicable.
