About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sheet Vinyl Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation of vinyl and linoleum flooring materials, showcasing a blend of technical skills, precision, and an eye for design.

Requirements

• Proven experience in vinyl and linoleum flooring installation in homes and businesses.
• Familiarity with various installation techniques and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to various installation challenges.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to handle heavy materials and stand for prolonged periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; professional certification or training in flooring installation is a plus.
• Installers will be required to possess insurance of no less than $1 million dollars.
• Installers will maintain insurance coverage that extends to its employees or any third parties in compliance with standard industry practice of no less than $500,000 bodily injury and $1,000,000 property damage.

Responsibilities

• Installation: Accurately measure, cut, and install vinyl and linoleum flooring in a variety of settings, including homes, businesses, and public areas.
• Floor Preparation: Prepare the installation surface by cleaning, leveling, and performing any necessary repairs to ensure a smooth installation process.
• Cutting and Fitting: Use specialized tools and equipment to cut and fit flooring materials to room dimensions, including around obstacles and corners.
• Adhesive Application: Apply adhesives correctly and efficiently, ensuring a secure and long-lasting fit of the flooring material.
• Finishing Touches: Install baseboards, thresholds, and trims to complete the flooring installation process, ensuring a polished and professional look.
• Quality Control: Perform final checks and cleanup post-installation to ensure the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of materials.
