About The Position

OCL Group Inc. (OCL) is a privately-held and employee-owned Canadian company providing integrated general contracting and design-build solutions across Western Canada. Since 2009, OCL has served the industrial, heavy civil, oil and gas, and mining industries with a focus on "People" and "Doing the Job Right". We are seeking two experienced Tin Bashers to join our team at the Kearl Oil Sands site for a Fly-In/Fly-Out (FIFO) position, working a 14/14 rotation with 12-hour shifts. Charter flights are provided from Edmonton or Calgary, with flight allowances based on province. Tentative start date is mid-June.

Requirements

Proven experience in industrial or commercial sheet metal work (Tin Bashing).
Ability to work independently on a 12-hour shift.
Comfortable working at heights and in varied weather conditions.
Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
Must be willing to complete a criminal background check.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Safety Tickets: CSTS/BSO/CSO, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Installation and maintenance of secondary building envelopes and drainage systems.
Gutter & Downspout Installation: Full assembly and mounting of water diversion systems.
Drip Edge: Installing professional-grade drip edges to protect roof eaves and gables.
Penetrations: Flashings and sealing for pipe and cable penetrations to ensure building integrity.
Miscellaneous Scope: Various sheet metal tasks and general site support as required.
