About The Position

As a Sheet Metal Worker - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. This role involves working with a variety of materials and tools to create high-quality components that meet our stringent standards. Your expertise will ensure the precision and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. The annual base salary range for this position is <$52,400 - $78,600>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. In this role, you will impact the overall production efficiency and quality of our products by ensuring that all sheet metal components are fabricated to the highest standards. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sheet metal worker with at least 2 years in the trade.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders accurately.
  • Proficiency in operating hand and power tools, as well as machinery used in sheet metal work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with welding and soldering sheet metal components is preferred.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in sheet metal work or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork fabrication, or industrial sheet metal applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and join sheet metal components.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to safety standards, making adjustments as necessary.
