Requirements

  • 3+ years of TIG and MIG welding experience, preferably with sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clean, consistent welds.
  • Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on sheet metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper settings for various materials and thicknesses.
  • Fabricate, fit, and assemble sheet metal parts while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality welds.
  • Inspect completed welds for structural integrity, appearance, and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Grind, finish, and prepare welded components as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
  • Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns promptly to management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
