About The Position

RQC is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman to join our Field Operations team at NSB Kings Bay, Georgia. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, directing crews, and coordinating sheet metal activities on active construction sites. The Foreman ensures that work is completed safely, meets quality expectations, stays within budget, and adheres to project schedules. This position plays a key leadership role in upholding RQ's Mission, Vision, Values. Founded in 1996, RQC, LLC has grown into a major contributor within Southern California's commercial and government Design-Build construction market. Today, we operate nationwide, managing projects across the United States from coast to coast. As a full-service Design-Build contractor, we oversee projects from start to finish, supported by field operations teams who are stationed on-site to ensure successful execution. Our expertise is centered on fast-paced, ground-up commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a strong emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Foreman supervising sheet metal work on medium to large-scale projects
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction or trade experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook required
  • CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, EM-385, and STS certifications required

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in construction management or engineering is a plus
  • Government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred
  • Experience working in a Design-Build environment is a plus
  • Background in fabricating sheet metal components for commercial or industrial applications preferred
  • Familiarity with Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk is a plus (training available)
