Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Technicians for projects located in the Hyattsville, MD area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-33/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Technicians
Responsibilities
- Assist with the replacement of rooftop units (RTUs)
- Prepare roof curbs for new equipment
- Assist crane operations during RTU removal and installation
- Connect ductwork and utilities
- Install condensate drain lines
- Reconnect or replace electrical disconnects
- Connect RTUs to electrical and temperature control systems
- Install smoke detectors when required
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications
