About The Position

W.B. Guimarin & Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial HVAC construction projects. The role calls for a confident, results-driven leader who takes ownership, develops strong teams, and keeps projects moving safely, efficiently, and profitably.

The superintendent will lead and develop sheet metal foremen, coordinate manpower, schedules, materials, and equipment across projects, monitor labor budgets and address challenges, and support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of field employees. The role also maintains standards for workmanship, jobsite safety, and customer satisfaction, while collaborating with project managers and leadership to plan work, communicate expectations, and deliver successful projects.

Requirements

• Strong commercial sheet metal/HVAC construction experience.
• At least 5 years of construction management experience, or a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering with 3–5 years of construction management experience.
• Proven ability to lead foremen and manage multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork installation, plans, specifications, and field operations.
• Ability to manage manpower, labor productivity, schedules, and budgets.
• Confident decision-making, excellent communication and organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and hold sheet metal foremen accountable for performance, productivity, and quality.
• Coordinate manpower, schedules, materials, and equipment across multiple projects.
• Monitor labor budgets, identify challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing skilled field employees.
• Maintain high standards for workmanship, jobsite safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Work with project managers and leadership to plan work, communicate expectations, and deliver successful projects.
