About The Position

The Dyna Ten Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects and will be managing project needs including but not limited to materials, personnel, schedules and communication with project management teams, customers and building officials.

Requirements

5 years of experience running and managing commercial plumbing construction projects
Supervision of projects ranging from $2 - $8M+ in value
Experience overseeing job site personnel – foreman through apprentice/helpers
Experience completing required documentation electronically.
OSHA 30 hour required.
Mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.
Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude.
Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.
Complies and promotes company Safety Policy
Excellent communication and customer services skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead a team to include teaching and coaching.
Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 80 lbs.
Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials
Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.
Ability to pass MVR check.
Ability to pass a physical ability test.
Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.

Nice To Haves

Master license in trade in corresponding state preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee commercial construction projects, managing materials, personnel, schedules, and communication with project management teams, customers, and building officials.
Ensure a quality project with a positive attitude, representing DynaTen professionally to customers and employees.
Utilize project schedules/milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings), and in-house shop drawings to coordinate work on site with other trades.
Complete required electronic documentation, including daily reports, next week plans, accurate as-built drawings, accident reports, and disciplinary reports.
Run and manage large-scale commercial plumbing/piping/sheet metal/insulation construction projects, including the ability to oversee multiple jobsites simultaneously.
Manage multiple crews from Foreman to Apprentice personnel.
Coordinate with other trades to complete plumbing/piping/sheet metal/insulation scope of work within project schedule.
Be accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment on job sites.
Plan ahead and understand the flow of the project, communicating with operations or project manager on current or future labor needs.
Understand and comply with the company tool policy and pass these values to less experienced employees.
Install systems and related materials using hand tools and power tools.
Attend weekly jobsite meetings and represent DynaTen on project schedules and work execution.
Conduct safety meetings, safety audits, and continuously help the job site avoid harmful, unsafe acts and situations.
Work from ladders, manlifts, and other equipment at various heights.
Walk project sites daily.
Lead a crew of up to 40 installers at multiple job sites.
Know and maintain Company policies and procedures equally with all employees under supervision.
Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
