About The Position

As a Sheet Metal / Structure Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and restoring aircraft engine components to the highest standards of quality and safety. Because every component arrives with its own repair requirements and challenges, the work is varied and engaging, offering continuous opportunities to apply your technical expertise, expand your skillset, and contribute to the success of a global aviation business. To support our operations, we are looking for candidates interested in evening or weekend shift opportunities. These schedules offer consistency and can provide added flexibility during the week. Evening shift: Monday to Thursday, 1:45PM to 12:15AM, offering long weekends every week Weekend shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, working 12‑hour days. Weekend team members are paid for a full 40‑hour work week, even though fewer hours are scheduled.

Requirements

  • Vocational diploma (DEP, ASP, DEC) in Precision Sheet Metal, Aeronautical Structures, Aircraft Maintenance, or a related technical trade.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow technical instructions and documentation in English.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Strong organizational skills and a disciplined approach to completing work accurately.
  • Commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, inspect, and restore aircraft engine components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and approved procedures.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation to determine repair requirements and output specifications.
  • Perform precise measurements using specialized instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Conduct repairs using a variety of hand tools, sheet metal techniques, and specialized equipment.
  • Perform leak, pressure, and functional testing to validate component integrity and performance.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and eliminate defects.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and quality.
  • Support production flow by transporting parts, components, and modules between workstations as required.
  • Participate in cleaning, inspection, and repair activities across various product lines.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and quality-focused work environment.
  • Support operational needs by performing work in related areas when required.
