About The Position

Skillforce is hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics to fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and architectural metal components for commercial and multi-family construction projects in Clarksville, TN. The anticipated work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 40-50 hours a week and pay is up to $32/hr depending upon experience.

Requirements

• 4+ year of sheet metal installation experience
• Proficient with brakes, shears, saws, and welding tools
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and job specifications
• Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
• Install HVAC ducts, vents, and architectural metal features
• Perform on-site layout and assembly
• Ensure proper sealing, insulation, and alignment
• Maintain safety standards and a clean work environment
• Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors
