About The Position
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Sheet Metal Operator at $14/hr. This role involves operating a sheet metal (roll mill) machine and setting up equipment to form metal into various shapes. The operator will be responsible for maintaining accuracy in measuring and counting parts, inspecting for quality, and adhering to safety procedures. General warehouse duties may also be assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience is required
- Ability to use basic measurement tools and count parts
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Dependable with a strong focus on safety and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Operate a sheet metal (roll mill) machine
- Setup and operate equipment to form metal into a plate, sheet, flatware, rod, or other specific manufacturing shape using techniques such as hot or cold rolled steel
- Maintain accuracy when measuring and counting parts
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
