The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and maintaining sheet metal products such as ducts for HVAC systems. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years commercial installation experience
- Familiar with codes, specs, prints, and diagrams
- Experienced in vertical, renovation, and upfit construction
- Experienced with installation of ductwork, hanger systems, VAVs, dampers, access doors, smoke detectors, diffusers, grills, and equipment
- Work with safe production in mind
- Work independently and as a participating team member
Responsibilities
- Fabricating, and maintaining sheet metal products for HVAC systems
- Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
- Install ductwork, hanger systems, VAVs, dampers, access doors, smoke detectors, diffusers, grills, and equipment
- Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all company and jobsite safety procedures are followed
