About The Position

RQ is hiring skilled Sheet Metal Installers to join its self-perform team supporting ongoing construction projects at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. RQ Construction LLC, established in 1996, is a prominent player in the commercial and government Design-Build industry, managing active projects nationwide. The company is recognized for delivering fast-paced commercial construction projects, with much of its work supporting Department of Defense efforts. Sheet Metal Installers are responsible for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, HVAC systems, and air distribution components on active job sites, ensuring all tasks meet applicable building codes and industry standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and the ability to safely operate tools and equipment while following strict safety guidelines and aligning with company values.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
At least 4 years of experience (or equivalent) as a journey-level sheet metal worker in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments
Provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
Successfully pass a drug screening.
Successfully pass a commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).

Nice To Haves

Experience on government, military, or large-scale commercial construction projects is preferred
