About The Position

RQC is looking to hire experienced Sheet Metal Installers to support Mechanical Operations on upcoming needs at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base in Okaloosa County, Florida, and Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida. All work is performed on military installations, and wages are paid in accordance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements specific to each job site. In this role, Sheet Metal Workers/Installers will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing duct systems, HVAC components, and air distribution equipment on commercial construction projects. Duties include reading and interpreting project specifications, ensuring installations meet applicable codes and quality standards, and applying mechanical and trade knowledge in the field. Employees are expected to safely use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and other specialized equipment while maintaining compliance with company safety standards and supporting RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of four years of journeyman-level experience in sheet metal work within commercial construction or facility operations

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience on military, government, industrial, or large-scale commercial construction projects preferred
  • Experience working in high-bay environments and with turning vanes preferred
  • Strong rigging and material handling experience preferred
  • Hoisting certifications are a plus

Responsibilities
