About The Position

We’re looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Foreman who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work from rough-in to startup. This role involves leading a team, ensuring safety compliance, and overseeing the installation of sheet metal and HVAC systems according to blueprints and specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sheet metal experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Proficient in SMACNA standards.
• Proficient in localized building codes.
• Proficient in advanced rigging.
• Ability to lift and carry tools or materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders, work on scaffolding, and bend or kneel for long periods.
• Ability to work comfortably in varying weather conditions, loud environments, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, HVAC layouts, and structural specifications accurately.
• Measure and mark locations for ductwork, equipment, and structural hangers.
• Assemble, hang, or repair sheet metal products and HVAC duct systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, structural, or spatial conflicts on the job site.
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and hazard assessments with the crew.
• Verify that all machinery, rigging, and personal protective gear are safe.
