About The Position
McCorvey Sheet Metal Works, L.P. is a detailer, fabricator, and installer of HVAC sheet metal duct with locations across the United States. We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time, day shift position for someone local to Nashville, with no travel or per diem required.
Requirements
- Able to pass a drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the US
- High school diploma
- Current driver’s license
- Proficient in English language
- 7+ years of experience running HVAC ductwork for large projects
- Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications
- Layout hangers utilizing dimensions or with a Trimble unit
- Full knowledge of ductwork, duct systems, water gauge, and different materials used
- Work with fellow employees with a respectful and tolerant attitude
- Willing to travel
Responsibilities
- Line out employees each day on jobsite
- Work necessary hours to hit mandatory deadlines
- Fill out Daily Reports, 3 Week Look Ahead, percent complete on project, and turn in employee’s time
- Communicate with Project Managers and Superintendent every day
- Attend onsite meetings with Mechanical and GC
- Install the highest quality product
- Represent McCorvey in a professional manner
