About The Position
ELRO Manufacturing is seeking a dependable and honest Second Shift Lead Fabricator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have expertise in shearing, folding, press brake operation, quality control, and safety adherence. Experience with laser operation and CNC router operations is desirable.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Experience or quick learner in laser cutting processes.
- Experience or quick learner in CNC router operations.
- Technical certifications in metal fabrication are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the second shift team in executing sheet metal fabrication tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and document results.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize fabrication processes.
- Train and mentor team members on fabrication techniques and safety procedures.
