About The Position
At QH&A we provide the best sheet metal products, installation, and CAD services in the Tri-State area. We are looking for a Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our team! Requirements
- Learning and understanding blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to sheet metal fabrication and installation
- Assisting Journeyman or experienced sheet metal workers in cutting, shaping and assembling sheet metal components
- Operating and maintaining hand and power tools used in sheet metal
- Measuring and marking sheet metal for cutting and bending according to project requirements
- Assisting in the installation of sheet metal systems such as ductwork
- Learning and implementing proper safety procedures including the use of PPE
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, contractors, and team members to ensure an efficient project completion
- Continuously developing skill and knowledge
Responsibilities
