Shed Electrician & Material Handler
About The Position
Ulrich Lifestyle Structures is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Factory Electrical & Material Handling Technician to support our production team. This role focuses on basic electrical component installation within sheds during the build process , along with handling and staging materials in the factory environment . This position is entirely factory-based - no on-site work, no customer interaction. At Ulrich Lifestyle Structures, our factory team is the backbone of our operation. Requirements
- Basic electrical knowledge (construction or shop experience preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or construction setting is a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical, hands-on work
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks
- Dependable and punctual
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced production environment
- Takes pride in clean, accurate work
Responsibilities
- Install basic electrical components in sheds during production (lights, switches, outlets)
- Run and secure internal wiring according to company standards
- Prepare electrical setups for future external connection (no live hookups)
- Inspect and verify all electrical components are properly installed before completion
- Move, stage, and organize materials needed for shed production
- Load and unload supplies from deliveries
- Ensure materials are available at workstations to maintain production flow
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of material areas
- Work alongside builders and production staff to meet daily build goals
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
- Assist with general shop tasks as needed to support workflow efficiency and prevent stock outs
