About The Position

ICE Western Sales is seeking a Shear and Press Brake Operator to join their Manufacturing team. This role is essential to shaping and assembling metal components for their HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with metalworking machinery, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and precision. ICE Western Sales has been manufacturing highly complex custom HVAC units for global commercial and industrial markets since 1991 and is a leader in the industry, supported by their state-of-the-art 5-acre facility in Calgary’s South Foothills Industrial Park. Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Grade 12 education or equivalent
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
Mechanically inclined and physically fit
Proven ability to meet project deadlines under pressure

Nice To Haves

HVAC shop experience preferred
Forklift and crane experience (asset)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible to work overtime

Responsibilities

Read and interpret specifications and blueprints
Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, and shape metal stock into parts or products
Operate press brake, shear, notcher, plasma machine, and other metalworking equipment
Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
Handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Maintain attention to detail and manual dexterity during extended periods of standing and physical activity
