About The Position

At ECS Composites, we build rugged composite products used around the world in military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications. As a Shear Operator, you'll play a key role in preparing materials that become part of products built to perform in the toughest environments. Our regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, giving you a 3-day weekend most weeks. Occasional Friday overtime may be required during busy periods, giving you the opportunity to earn extra hours when production demands increase. If you enjoy working with your hands, operating equipment, and seeing the results of your work every day, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented
• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable using measuring tools
• Dependable and reliable
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Willing to learn

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate shear equipment to cut materials accurately and efficiently
• Read work orders and production drawings
• Measure and verify materials before cutting
• Inspect finished parts for quality
• Keep materials organized and minimize waste
• Work with your team to keep production moving
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Follow safety and quality standards
