About The Position

The SharePoint Platform Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, administering, securing, and supporting enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration environments. This role combines platform administration, solution development, workflow automation, governance, and user experience optimization to improve business processes, knowledge management, and collaboration across domestic and international operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Platform technologies, information protection, and user-centered design. This position supports users across CONUS and OCONUS locations while ensuring compliance with ITAR, EAR, CUI, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with two additional years of relevant experience.
5+ years of SharePoint administration, development, or engineering experience.
3+ years of Microsoft 365 experience.
Secret clearance required.
Demonstrated hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, including site and content management, permissions, secure collaboration, and business workflow automation.
Experience creating and managing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, metadata, content types, and views.
Experience developing and supporting workflows using Power Automate or comparable SharePoint workflow technologies.
Experience with Power Apps, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Lists, and other Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
Experience with SharePoint migration tools and migration planning.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity and access management, and Microsoft 365 security concepts.
Experience working in regulated, government, defense, healthcare, or other security-conscious environments.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to document technical solutions, procedures, and system configurations.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server sites, site collections, libraries, lists, pages, and related components.
Create, configure, and support team sites, communication sites, document libraries, metadata, content types, views, and navigation structures.
Manage SharePoint security groups, Microsoft 365 groups, site permissions, library/list permissions, and role-based access controls.
SharePoint Online architecture, workflow automation, governance, information protection, and management of ITAR, EAR, CUI, and sensitive data.
Provision, modify, review, and remove user access in accordance with approved business and security requirements.
Troubleshoot user access, authentication, sharing, synchronization, and permissions issues.
Support document and records-management practices, including versioning, retention, labeling, archival, and controlled sharing.
Help establish and enforce SharePoint governance standards for naming, ownership, permissions, storage, and content lifecycle management.
Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain business workflows using Power Automate and SharePoint capabilities.
Develop workflows for approvals, notifications, task routing, document processing, status tracking, data collection, and other business processes.
Create and configure SharePoint forms and, where appropriate, integrate Power Apps to improve data-entry and user-experience requirements.
Document workflow logic, dependencies, support procedures, and change history.
Support testing and release activities for SharePoint configuration changes, workflows, integrations, and updates.
Provide user guidance and training on SharePoint features, permissions, document management, and workflow usage.
Administer and integrate SharePoint Online with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Microsoft Viva.
Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Microsoft Lists solutions.
Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft Graph API and third-party business systems.
Implement retention policies, sensitivity labels, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls.
Support Microsoft Search, content discovery, and knowledge management initiatives.
Monitor platform health, storage utilization, and adoption metrics.
Develop and maintain custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions.
Create client-side solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
