About The Position

Core4ce is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Online / SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support modern solutions across SharePoint Online and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing custom, responsive, secure, and accessible SharePoint solutions using SPFx, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. This individual will collaborate with technical teams and government stakeholders to analyze requirements, improve business processes, and translate customer needs into effective technical solutions. This role also includes managing and executing the MED365 Code Review process, ensuring adherence to established development standards, reviewing submitted code for quality, security, and maintainability, and providing constructive feedback to developers to drive continuous improvement across the development lifecycle. Experience integrating SharePoint Online with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Azure services is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who possesses strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills. This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, with a T5 background investigation.
• 8+ years of SharePoint development experience, including at least 4 years of SPFx development.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Experience building modern, responsive, and accessible SharePoint solutions.
• Experience integrating SharePoint Online with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs, and other APIs or services.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, governance, and site configuration.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong Power App and Power Automate experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, end users, and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Additional relevant professional experience, technical training, or industry certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience using project management tools (such as Jira)
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe practices and all ceremonies and events.
• Experience designing automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, forms, views, and security roles.
• Experience building custom connectors or integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online.
• Experience using SharePoint Developer and/or InfoPath Designer, and converting to M365 solutions.
• Experience creating or embedding Power BI reports and dashboards within SharePoint Online or Microsoft Teams.
• Experience integrating SharePoint Online with Microsoft Teams, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, or other Azure services.
• Experience with Sharegate and other migration tools.
• Experience modernizing classic SharePoint applications or migrating solutions to SharePoint Online.
• Experience conducting code reviews.
• Experience working in a federal government or Department of War environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, product owners, and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and refine business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx.
• Develop responsive and accessible SPFx web parts, extensions, application customizers, field customizers, and reusable components.
• Build modern user interfaces using TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Fluent UI, and related front-end technologies.
• Configure and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, content types, site columns, metadata, navigation, permissions, search, and information architecture.
• Design and implement solutions that integrate SharePoint Online with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Develop Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that complement or extend SharePoint functionality, as needed.
• Develop custom connectors and API-based integrations for SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing plans and document testing results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, permission problems, integration failures, and other production support concerns.
• Maintain and enhance existing SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions to ensure continued reliability, performance, security, and usability.
• Package and deploy SPFx solutions through established development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Support automated deployment and application lifecycle management practices for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable security, governance, data protection, records management, and accessibility requirements.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to reusable components, development standards, and technical best practices.
• Ensure all submitted code aligns with MED365 development standards, including security best practices, maintainability, performance requirements, and architectural guidelines.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback during code reviews and work collaboratively with developers to resolve issues and support continuous improvement in code quality.
• Continuously evaluate opportunities to refine and streamline the MED365 Code Review process by incorporating stakeholder feedback, addressing recurring friction points, and adapting review workflows to align with updated tooling, security requirements, and evolving enterprise best practices.
• Assist with migrations to SharePoint Online from on-prem servers or Subscription Edition environment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution diagrams, deployment instructions, runbooks, configuration guides, and user documentation.
• Demonstrate completed functionality to customers and provide user training and technical assistance when needed.
• Remain current with changes to SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365, and related development technologies.
