The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico: The Senior SharePoint Developer serves as a subject matter expert for our Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID environment, with shared responsibilities of our custom tools, SharePoint development, and PowerShell automation. This role provides advanced technical leadership within the SharePoint Online Engineering team and contributes to day-to-day operational success, architectural planning, platform improvements, completion of SharePoint projects, and the development of short-term operational plans. The ideal candidate has advance to expert-level experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online development, operates with minimal oversight, and is capable of coaching other professionals while influencing platform practices and technical decisions.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience developing and architecting solutions in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
  • Advanced-to-expert knowledge of one or more of the following: SharePoint Online architecture and development, Microsoft Graph / REST APIs / CSOM, C# (with modern authentication and cloud integration), PowerShell automation in enterprise environments, Entra ID concepts including app registrations and permissions
  • Experience in GCC High environment or similar controlled landscape
  • Experience leading moderately complex technical projects with minimal oversight.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex issues requiring detailed research and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions and best practices.
  • Experience performing at a level comparable to a Microsoft MVP (formal MVP status not required).
  • Experience with SPFx, PnP, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps.
  • Background in governance, compliance tooling, or large-scale M365 operations.
  • Ability to mentor others and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Skills with Power Platform

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID within the team.
  • Act as SharePoint Online administrator: permissions, site architecture, content types, site settings, and tenant configuration.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of custom compliance tools, including ongoing development, deployment, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Development and support of the site provisioning solution, ensuring reliability and alignment with organizational practices.
  • Build, maintain, and improve PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, lifecycle management, and governance activities.
  • Investigate and resolve complex, often undefined issues spanning multiple systems or business areas.
  • Apply prior experience and structured analysis to develop solutions to difficult problems with moderate cross-departmental impact.
  • Contribute to operational planning, including input into roadmaps, standards, and process improvements.
  • Manage moderately sized development projects or process improvements with measurable impact on team objectives.
  • Coach, review, and provide guidance to lower-level developers and administrators.
  • Communicate and collaborate with partners inside and outside the discipline, including vendors, business stakeholders, and IT groups.
