About The Position

ITility is seeking an experienced performance-driven SharePoint Administrator to support our program with the HQDA, CIO, DCS G-6. This is an onsite position at Ft. Belvoir, VA. The SharePoint Administrator provides technical support in administering, updating, and maintaining the CIO and DCS G-6 SharePoint environment in support of Army business systems. This position ensures secure, compliant, and mission-focused operation of organizational SharePoint platforms supporting a large and diverse user base. The Administrator works directly with Government leadership, Site Owners, and end users to define requirements, implement changes, maintain governance standards, and ensure content accuracy and system performance. This role reports to the Site Lead and Program Manager. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or a minimum of four years of relevant IT web technology experience.
  • Demonstrated experience administering SharePoint 2013, 2016, and/or SharePoint Online.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions models, governance frameworks, and SDLC processes.
  • Experience translating customer requirements into functional web solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business leadership, technical leadership, and engineers.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Federal environments preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience migrating from on-premises or non-Microsoft platforms to Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence.
  • Familiarity with migration tools and automation.
  • Knowledge of Army web policy and CAC-enabled environments.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a dynamic operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the CIO and DCS G-6 SharePoint environment.
  • Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of homepage, documents, and site content.
  • Enforce governance standards for site creation, permissions management, and content lifecycle.
  • Maintain HUB site permissions and role-based access controls.
  • Ensure CAC authentication and compliance with Army business system security requirements.
  • Adhere to Standard Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and applicable web policies.
  • Provide Tier I maintenance and technical support for approved applications.
  • Respond to and resolve SharePoint-related help desk tickets daily.
  • Track, document, and formally manage site change requests.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for user access, site functionality, and content updates.
  • Generate and submit monthly ticketing reports.
  • Work directly with customers to define SharePoint requirements and translate them into site design, structure, and functionality.
  • Develop collaborative SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
  • Ensure all new web applications conform to approved design and formatting standards.
  • Test and monitor SharePoint performance regularly.
  • Conduct regular link verification and coordinate content archival.
  • Identify and account for Site Owners and provide guidance and training resources.
  • Support migration efforts to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online platforms.
  • Leverage migration tools and automation where appropriate.
  • Maintain homepage and organizational content as required.
  • Provide monthly homepage usage statistics reports.
  • Provide monthly ticketing reports using approved systems (Remedy, KACE, AESD, or successor platforms).
  • Participate in weekly or bi-weekly SharePoint synchronization meetings.
  • Provide leadership updates as required.
  • Support backup procedures and restoration of SharePoint environments as needed.
