This role is responsible for managing tax preparation and planning for Kent family trusts and senior executives, responding to taxing authorities, and providing timely and accurate tax advice. The position also involves assisting shareholders with purchasing and financing real property, aiding senior executives with investment and cashflow management, and advising on estate planning matters. The Counsel will review and manage trusts and entities to achieve estate planning goals, coordinate planning efforts with external and internal legal and tax professionals, and provide guidance to shareholders on their rights and responsibilities. Additionally, the role includes supervising the Manager of Shareholder & Corporate Services, collaborating with the Manager of Administrative Services, and serving as a historical resource for the Kent family and the Company.
