Shared Support Services Intern
About The Position
The Shared Service Support team is responsible for the business line support of UMB’s Institutional Custody Applications. The team works closely with the operations and relationship teams that support UMBs Corporate Trust and Institutional Investor clients including Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, CLOs and many more. This includes strategic planning of operational and software enhancements, vendor management, data integration both internally and externally facing off with UMB teams in X States. As the Shared Service Support Intern, you will assist with system support and/or strategic initiative projects within the corporate trust or institutional custody lines of business. How you will spend your time: Partner with business unit stakeholders and technical staff to identify complex problems and imagine creative solutions to operational issues. Partner with technical services teams Develop and perform test cases for solution implementation Maintain System Development Lifecycle best practices Develop data queries and construct valuable data analytics and reporting We’re excited to talk with you if: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program specialized in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics
