About The Position

The Senior Manager, Shared Sourcing with MGM Resorts International will lead sourcing initiatives that span multiple business units and categories, driving efficiency, cost savings, and supplier collaboration across the enterprise. This role leverages MGM’s scale to deliver value while ensuring operational alignment and flexibility for its diverse portfolio of resorts. The position partners with business leaders and suppliers to execute sourcing strategies, manage key negotiations, and support the development of best-in-class procurement practices. Acting as a subject matter expert, the role helps standardize sourcing processes, improve supplier performance, and champion innovation within MGM’s global supply chain.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field Required
5+ years of experience in progressive sourcing or procurement experience, with demonstrated success in cross-functional or enterprise-wide initiatives Required
Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex sourcing initiatives from start to finish Required
Proven success in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management Required
Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa and Oracle required.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

Procurement certifications (CPSM, CTPRP) preferred
PMP or PMI-ACP a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead sourcing projects, including RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
Execute strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier innovation.
Partner with business unit leaders to align enterprise-wide sourcing benefits with operational needs.
Identify opportunities for category consolidation, standardization, and process improvement.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive collaboration and mitigate risk.
Facilitate communication and conflict resolution between stakeholders and suppliers.
Enhance sourcing tools, templates, and reporting to improve visibility and efficiency.
Ensure sourcing activities comply with corporate policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
Utilize data analytics and market insights to support sourcing decisions and track results.
