About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shared Services HR Specialist to join our client's HR organization in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for a high-accuracy HR operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume shared services environment. The position requires the precise and timely processing of large volumes of HR transactions within SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP, and ServiceNow. Success in this role requires exceptional accuracy, consistency, productivity, and adherence to established policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; typically 4+ years of progressive HR administration experience.
  • 2+ years in HR Operations, Shared Services, HRIS, or Payroll Support with high-volume data entry.
  • 2+ years working with SuccessFactors, SAP, ServiceNow, or similar HR systems.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality at high transaction volumes.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain moderately complex information.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Understanding of employee lifecycle processes, such as termination processing, promotions, pay changes, and transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume employee lifecycle transactions in SuccessFactors and SAP, including hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, compensation updates, organizational changes, and terminations.
  • Manage 30–40 ServiceNow HR cases daily, reviewing documentation, determining required actions, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform pre- and post-entry validation of employee master data, organizational assignments, compensation details, and effective dates.
  • Conduct post-transaction quality checks, reconcile data across systems, and resolve discrepancies or errors.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, ensure SLA adherence, and support periodic audits and compliance reviews.
  • Partner with HR Services, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Managers, and HR COEs to ensure seamless HR operations.
  • Support process standardization, participate in training, and contribute to operational audits.
  • Train lower-level staff as needed and uphold all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
