About The Position

Chrysalis is seeking caring individuals or couples to provide a home for a person with intellectual disabilities. This role involves offering stability, belonging, and the opportunity to foster lasting memories. Chrysalis will provide training, regular time off, extended vacation time, and monthly compensation for services, rent, and food. Individuals will be matched with a child, teen, or adult based on preferences and needs. This is an opportunity to improve one's financial situation while making a significant difference in someone's life.

Requirements

• All adults in the home must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have experience providing support to individual(s) with disabilities.
• Meet home/apartment safety and health requirements.
• Complete pre-service training requirements.
• Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Have good judgment.
• Have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide a home for a person with intellectual disabilities.
